Fun International Evening at Happy Days!

What a fantastic night! On September 11th, around 50 internationals from the Statenkwartier gathered at Happy Days for a lively “borrel.” The vibe was relaxed yet buzzing, with the bar filled with laughter and conversation in various languages.

The owner made the rounds, offering tasty snacks provided by the organizers, which kept the energy going. Drinks were flowing, with the international community enjoying beers, wines, and other drinks while swapping stories and making new friends.

One great idea that came up was to add ’taalmaatjes’ (language buddies) to the buddy system. So, if you’re looking for someone to practice Dutch with, be sure to mention it when you sign up!
