Come see, taste, listen and dance at our 100 year Statenkwartier festival! On Saturday the 4th of July we will mimic the famous Ramblas of Barcelona in the Statenkwartier.

Between the “Fred” and the Van Boetzelaerlaan, on the Willem de Zwijgerlaan you will find lot’s of stands with food & drinks and entertainment. To mark and celebrate 100 years Statenkwartier, local shops and restaurants will serve their specialities accompanied by live music and different artists.

The festival welcomes the old and young, people from the Statenkwartier, expats and The Hague. Opening times are from 3pm to 11.30pm. There is no entrance fee.

Culinary

Our local food shops and restaurants will offer such a diverse palette of food you’ll be sure to find your favourite! From Indonesian, Japanese, Libanese, French, Dutch organic meat, fish, pies, French fries and “bitterballen”!

Of course we also have Dutch candy, ice cream, French crêpes, chocolate and other tidbits for the sweet tooth!

Entertainment

A magician and a ballon artist will be there for the kids. A play corner and some song and dance for the little ones will make it all extra fun.

Dance

At 4.15 pm and 6.15 pm dance teachers will take us through their world of international dancing, all are very welcome to join.

Music

The festival starts at 3 pm with a DJ. At 5 pm the band Vuig Tuig will play. At 7pm coverband That’s Cool! will take over and from 9 pm Knappe Mannen & Diva’s will play until the end.
