The Hague, with its seaside resort Scheveningen, is in a perfect position to host a variety of sporting events this summer. A special setting for many top events will be the Hommerson Beach Stadium. It will play host to the Nestea European Championship Tour, the KNVB Beach Soccer Series, the Open Dutch Championship Lifesaving and the NK Beach Handball.
The stadium can seat 2000 people and entrance is free. It is located near the entry to the Scheveningen harbor ( 2586 JP ).  Beach Tennis and Beach Hockey will also be included in the season's program which continues until September 13.
