(23-10-2011) Spooky Hours in the Prison Gate Museum:
Halloween Tours at night
Do you dare to enter the Prison Gate at night? The Prison
Gate museum will organise tours through the museum at night on
Halloween saturday october 29th, the night in
which the dead come back to life! The doors to the prison will open
every hour and you will enter this century old building where both
rich and poor people were held, tortured and sometimes even died.
Our guides will tell the story behind this building as well as the
story of Halloween and through small entrances and staircases we
will take you to the prison cells, the torture equipment and the
place where it was all put to use.
The first tour will be in English and is specially organised
for expats and their children. The tours will start at 19:30,
20:30, 21:30 and 22:30 and will last 1,5 hour. Tickets are
available at the 22nd of October at the cash desk of the Prison
Gate at a cost of €17,50 per ticket. The address is Buitenhof 33 in
The Hague and tickets can only be bought at the cash desk. More
